SIREVA II: New network in 2006

This project aims to contribute to the development of a regional epidemiological surveillance network for vaccine-preventable childhood respiratory diseases due to pneumonia, influenza, and meningitis in Central and South America. The network includes selected sentinel hospitals, public health laboratories, epidemiological surveillance units, and the ministry of health in each participating country.
